My grandson, Joshua Bland, was shot/murdered on May 16, 2007. There were two postings from your Church in the Dayton Newspaper from 2 men in your congregation who said they prayed with Joshua for salvation on May 4. One name was Phil Taylor and the other was Riddick. These postings have been a wonderful comfort to our family and I would like to speak personally with either of these two men or both to hear the details of their meeting with Joshua. Joshua’s killer has been caught and one trial ended in a hung jury (9 voted guilty and 3 voted not guilty — so there will be a second trial to be scheduled shortly. Please pray with us for justice in this murder case. Josh deserves justice. We miss him so very much, but we know he is with the Lord. God bless you. Donna Hollon
